Where mirror mirror started,
I began hand making jewelry for myself 17 years ago because I couldn’t find pieces that I loved that would work for my sensitive skin and still be affordable. My father taught me how to solder and I began teaching myself how to create my own jewelry using non reactive metals.
Rewind to 17 years ago…
My first sold item happened by chance one day when I was walking down the street in nearby Asbury Park. I was approached by a woman who spotted the necklace I was wearing and asked where I had purchased it. When I replied that I made it myself, she offered me a price and asked if I would sell it to her!
Naturally, I thought she was joking around but she pulled out the cash and I removed it from my neck and handed it over. It was such a surreal moment but gave me enough confidence (along with the encouragement of my friends and family) to believe that this was something I can offer to other people with similar needs to mine.
And, here we are today!
Over those past 17 years I have honed my skills and love to incorporate traditional and non traditional methods of jewelry making. All of my pieces are currently hand fabricated by me from concept to final product with care and attention to detail. I pride myself on knowing I can offer these items to you with confidence in their quality.
